10 Keys to Increasing your Productivity

  • Develop clear goals and write them down.
Any successful person will share this same secret, that if you want to achieve your goals and dreams you must write them down. Not type them out, you must WRITE THEM DOWN.

  • Write a clear action plan.
After writing your goals you must write down a action plan. This is the plan that will be in place to give you that step by step action to move your forward daily.

  • Set your priorities.
Ask yourself this question: What is the highest and best use of my time? When you focus on what you are good at and delegate the rest success comes to fruition a lot faster.

  • Concentrate and eliminate distractions.
When you set your priorities and you know what needs to get done don’t let the little distractions get in the way. They come in all shapes and forms but if you keep the question, What is the highest and best use of my time? in the front of your mind than you will get back on track towards your goals.

  • Work harder at what you do.
Always go above and beyond. Even if you are at a job and line of work that you don’t like at that time you still need to go above and beyond until you find your love and passion and move forward in that direction. When you give your best you will receive the best.

  • Pick up the pace.

Go a bit faster than others. Walk faster, do things faster (don’t drive faster), put a little pep in what you do. Successful people are doers and get things done. When you put a little speed (with quality) in what you do, it will keep you moving forward towards what you need to get done.

  • Work smarter.
Always think of ways to get something done better. As you do your daily routine and tasks think of the ways you can save time, save money and do things more efficiently. This is a key ingredient to successful living.

  • Align your work with your skills.
Be sure to do what you love. Discover what it is you love to do. Naturally you are good at something, the things that you know that just come easy and are fun for you do. When you align yourself with your

  • Bunch your tasks.
Think of ways to get things done all at the same time or my favorite have someone else do it for you. Delegate, Delegate, Delegate. Bunch your tasks together and think of ways to get them done all at the same time.

  • Cut out steps.
Think of ways you can get things done more efficiently. When you cut out a step or two out of a process you save time and time is money. This does not mean you “cut corners” NO, don’t ever cut corners and cut the value out of what you are doing. Be sure to give lots of value in all that you do and apply ways you can get things done efficiently.
